Relax and unwind on Mackerel’s beautiful main sandy beach or enjoy swimming or snorkelling right out the front on a secluded section of the beach, fishing off the rocks below, kayaking or boating in the crystal clear protected waters of Pittwater.

A typical weekend might start by taking the longboard out for a morning surf at the Point, followed by a bike ride to one of our favourite picnic spots. Laze away the afternoon getting lost in a good book underneath the pandanus trees around any one of the beach nooks at Cabarita Headland. For dinner, we love to crack a bottle of vino and fire up the pizza oven or prepare a beautiful home cook meal after a visit to one of the nearby farmer’s markets.

Walk in the forest next to Captains Rest, swim in the water, fires on the beach, and long nights reading in front of the fire. Watch the night stars reflect on the water and listen to the bird songs upon awakening.
