Spring is in full bloom now and this means it’s time for the annual Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers! This must-attend festival has travellers from far and wide frolicking up the range to the witness the flowers galore, fabulous food and much more! With 10 days of action-packed fun starting on Friday 15th September, our Toowoomba Property Manager Sally McCaffery has put together a list of must see’s and do’s!

ERGON ENERGY FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL
The first three days are dedicated to all the foodies and wine lovers out there! Showcasing incredible food and wine made with produce grown fresh in Southern Queensland Country this is one not to miss.
Daily and three-day passes are available for purchase, with entry costs including all live cooking and gardening demonstrations, DIY workshops, beer and wine appreciation sessions, exhibitions and live music. Kids are welcome with full workshops and activities for them!

HERITAGE BANK LIVE CONCERT SERIES
As part of the Ergon Energy Food & Wine Festival, you can party on into the night with some of the country’s best and brightest music acts. Groove to the likes of The Temper Trap, The Angels, Darryl Braithwaite, Alex Lahey, The Paper Kites and much more!

TALKING PUBS TOUR
Four of Toowoomba’s most historic pubs have joined forces to create a four-hour progressive flavour tour! Starting at Fitzy’s you will then make your way to the rooftop bar at Muller Bros, the Spotted Cow Hotel and the Irish Club Hotel.

GRAND CENTRAL FLORAL PARADE
Join thousands of visitors and locals in the heart of the city for the famous floral parade! The extravagant parade full of floral floats, street performers, carnival characters, incredible inflatables and stilt walkers will weave their way through the main streets of Toowoomba. Make sure you get their early to grab a good spot!

TRAINS TO SPRING BLUFF
The spectacular prize winning gardens at Spring Bluff station is one not the be missed! If you’re after a beautiful scenic journey, then jump on board the vintage diesel-engine train which departs twice daily from Toowoomba. Pack a picnic and enjoy a great day at the prettiest railway station in South East Queensland.

NIGHT UNDER THE STARS AT THE POP UP CINEMA
Thinking about a family movie night? Why not have one under the stars! Pack your blankets, beanbags and popcorn and settle in for the night at the Pop up Cinema! On the line up are two family favourites, Trolls and The Lion King!
